I just finished "Doubling Back to Love" and LOVED it! It's a steamy, fast-moving, hot new novel! A better read, for me, then "Shades of Grey". I would really like to see a sequel to Lexi's romantic interludes, or a movie! This new work by Rebecca Warner is a passionate story questioning our decisions concerning our loves and our commitments to those we love. Once again Rebecca has introduced new options that surprise us and liberate us from static, singular solutions. Read it. You’ll be glad you did!  ~ Mona Vae Hamilton
I read this book in one day, I could not put it down. It is like a breath of fresh air in the steamy romance genre. This is a great read, a fun story that is very well written and totally different from anything else I've ever read. It's not all about sex by any means, though the sex scenes are beautifully done and spicy without being over the top. But the sexuality of the character, Lexi, is an important element in her relationships. She is beautiful, sexy, independent, smart, and has a good heart, all which makes her very desirable to three different men. They all want her, and she has to decide which one she wants to be with. Though that sounds improbable, the author gives us every reason to believe it. Lexi is not your typical female character who needs to be saved by the perfect man. In fact, Doubling Back to Love is a very different kind of love story, with a clever and very satisfying twist on your typical 'happily ever after' ending. Highly recommend! ~ Julie

Who would complete her love story? I will not be a spoiler...
There is an element inside every person, wondering what if? What if I had followed my dreams? What if I had pursued my passion? Was that my soulmate? Here, the heroine does just that! She lives with no regrets! This brave and courageous character lives with the mask down, she follows her heart! Lexi captured my attention with her courage and passion!!! Once I was caught in the plot, there was no turning back for me. I wondered who would capture and keep her adoration? Who would complete her love story? I will not be a spoiler, I do highly recommend this enticing read! Perfect for your inner romantic...

The Girl You'll Either Love or Hate
In Doubling Back to Love, author Rebecca Warner gives us a book that’s easy to get caught up in, full of steamy encounters and a very independent woman. Lexi is a gal we love and hate almost in the same breath. How could she be so lucky? She does seem to have it all – looks, talent and to-die-for men flocking to her with promises of forever. So what is missing in Lexi’s psyche that makes her unable to commit to any one of them for very long? For that answer, you have to read the book and even then you may not reach a conclusion. I’d love to see Ms. Warner bring us the next chapter in Lexi’s story, because when I reached the end, I was left wanting much more. Doubling Back to Love has a captivating story line with well-defined characters. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone looking to relax with a bit of romance, flavored with some steamy sex, and some guys we tend to drool over. This is the perfect book to read, curled up with a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire or on a beach somewhere.

This book had all the things I like in a sexy romance novel, including a smart, no apologies independent woman, Lexi, and the great men who want her. She's in the driver's seat and isn't afraid to move on to the next relationship, all with men she has loved in the past who she could possibly love again. The plot is fast moving in this well written book, and surprises are around each corner. No spoilers, but I was rooting for one man in particular but the surprise ending makes me think there will be another book. I hope so, I really liked following Lexi's sexy romantic adventures and want more!

Amazing story of love and loss. I don't do spoilers so I'll just say that the complicated love life of Alexis kept me on my toes. Ms. Warner was able to put into words the insecurities of real life and the consequences that can follow. I had to read to the end to see where Alexis ended up. If you want love and romance, I highly recommend this book.

Lexi has a great life. She loves her husband, Brad, and the sex is still smoking hot after almost eight years of marriage. They're also financially secure and their relationship is solid. Everyone around them believes they're the perfect couple. So, can a man from her past shake all of that up?

We quickly discover Lexi is a woman in charge of herself and her sexuality. Prior to her marriage, she dated a lot of men without regret or apology. But when Nick Cross reenters her sphere almost two decades later, all bets are off. The two knew each other in high school and Lexi had wanted him to be her 'first' -- but that night didn't go as planned ... and now she's married; he's not. But the sizzling chemistry between them is hotter than ever and is begging for a second chance at what might have been.

Doubling Back to Love is the story of how one woman navigates the minefield of loving more than one man, and I'm not just talking about Brad and Nick ... Lexi decides one man cannot give her all that she needs, and she becomes frustrated that she must choose only one man. If the men in her life were agreeable, Lexi would have a red-hot polyamorous relationship. Easier said than done. And the end of the story leaves us aware that even though Lexi has made her choice, for now, it may not last when she meets up with an old boyfriend from the past

This book was packed with deep emotional scenes, that kept you on the edge of your seat. I love how the author flipped the tables and had a woman be the one that decides to leave her relationship to experiment with other men. Lexi was a highly-sexual being and the perfect personality for this. You would think, a woman that jumps from man to man would be someone that you might not like, but Rebecca Warner wrote with such powerful emotion, you felt for Lexi and routed for her the entire book, wanting her to be with the perfect man.
I have to say, the last 2-3 chapters had me turning pages faster than I ever have. When Lexi has to choose one of the men she loved so deeply, I wasnt even sure who she would pick. The case for each man, Brad, Nick and Bobby, was written so perfectly, every time one pleaded for her love, I switched and said "He's the one" until the next time they each expressed their love, and I would switch again. Each romance was perfect and it really was hard to pick which guy was the right one for her.
The way the book ended was perfect for Lexi. Exactly how the book should end, and had me smiling from ear to ear. Perfect ending to such an emotional book.

Doubling Back to Love is a very well written book that kept me turning the pages. I didn't always agree with Lexi's choices, but I could appreciate that her actions and choices were not driven by society's standards. She followed her heart in trying to find the perfect love, and if that took her from man to man, so be it. If it was a man going from one beautiful woman to another society would call him a stud. Lexi is the feminine equivalent of that. This romance book was unique and unlike anything else I've read in this genre, except for the hot sex. Not as much as many books, but plenty enough. Really good writing.

Before I begin my review of this incredible book let me first say that this is my first time reading a book in this genre. So I may not understand all the twists that come with it but this book certainly invoked some emotions in me!

Let’s get to the meat and potatoes of the review. Wonderfully written with several characters and twist and turns that made it hard for me to put the book down. The book takes you on a journey! I found myself wanting to skip ahead to see what was going to happen with decisions the main character Lexi had to make. I fought that urge and read each chapter in order. As a man reading this I had to wonder out loud at times, “Is this what goes on in a woman’s head?” Time after time I found myself yelling at Lexi, “That’s just a dumb decision!” The indecision, insecurities, and second guessing of the main character where fascinating and told in a compelling story that at the end only added to the emotions I felt as I read this wonderful piece of fiction.

It’s difficult to write this review because I don’t want to give away one detail in a spoiler, yet I want to discuss and talk to everyone who has read and who will read this book and get their opinions on Lexi.

Once again a wonderful introduction into the genre for someone who mainly reads crime fiction stories or tales of urban fiction, I was impressed. Bravo.

Fantasy Times Three

DOUBLING BACK TO LOVE is a woman's romantic and sexual fantasy! Three great men want Lexi for reasons the author makes clear in each case, and Lexi has to decide between them. The relationship she has with each man is sexually hot, but also loving and emotional. She has a good heart but lives life on her terms and doesn't apologize to anyone for her sexuality and passion that drives her to make the decisions she does. I found the story liberating and the ending was a surprise but also in keeping with Lexi's life choices.

Let me say first I liked this book very much, but it is a little high brow and everyone is beautiful and sexy and rich. It's like Jackie Collins books in that regard, but also like her books it is well written and it has a good plot, travel adventures and hot sex that keeps you reading. Lexi gets around, though the name of the book Doubling Back to Love lets you know she goes back to old loves and has steamy love affairs with them. Plus her almost ex-husband is still in the picture, and he still loves her too. She loves all of them, and she feels pressure to choose one of them for life. But as the book description says, why does it have to come down to choosing one man? The unexpected ending left me wondering if there's going to be a sequel. I'd like to read it if there is.

I’ve recently read both of Rebecca Warner’s books and both are excellent, entertaining and with unexpected endings. She is proving to be a wonderful new author. I hope she is well in to writing and publishing a third book and then many, many more.
Doubling Back to Love is a romantic romp that I really didn’t think I was going to enjoy as much as her first book which is a political intrigue... but Doubling Back had me hooked immediately. It’s definitely a woman’s steamy romance story but is fast-moving and the ending is not expected. Rebecca sure knows how to write and keep your attention. It is a real page-turner. Can hardly wait for her next book...no matter what the subject.

This book was so much fun to read. It is really well written and kept me turning the pages, because I was always amazed at what choices Lexi, the main character, was making. It could almost qualify as pure fantasy, but the emotions in it are so real. I'm the type who is looking for one man and one lifetime love, but that doesn't mean I can't fantasize about having the kind of erotic love life Lexi has! The ending makes me think there might be a sequel? I hope so.

Just finished Doubling Back to Love and I loved it! Lexi has a conventional yet what most of us would consider wonderful life. But when her hot high school boyfriend, who is now a famous movie star, comes back into her life, she gives into the temptation and begins a relationship with him. When that isn't working out like she thought, she doesn't waste any time in following up another relationship from her youth that she always wondered, "what if" about. The thing is, she has good reasons for all she does. She smart and sexy and beautiful and she doesn't have to dance to anyone's music but her own. This is a well written, page turning book with an unexpected ending, and I hope there is another book about Lexi coming soon.

Rebecca Warner is a pro at character development and dialogue. Lexi is a truly believable, strong, beautiful woman who makes interesting choices throughout this page-turning story. It was hard to put down and the ending left me wanting more. A great addition to the author's already successful first novel, Moral Infidelity. Good read. I'm ready for the next book from this talented writer.

Very entertaining and well-written! The author gives you a clear picture of the character's life, busy and filled with uplifting thoughts. I didn't want to quit reading. Lexi never ceases to amaze with her relationships. She surprises you with practically every decision she makes. She makes life exciting for herself and others around her.

Another well written book by Rebecca Warner! I read her first book, Moral Infidelity, and really enjoyed it. Doubling Back to Love did not disappoint. You will find yourself thinking about this book well after you have finished it. It is a great book to discuss with your girlfriends who should be reading it too. Suggest it to your book club.

The picture on the cover of the book pretty much describes the story: sexy, sweet, strongly independent well traveled character who is not willing to compromise her own hopes and dreams for anyone else, no matter how handsome, educated, rich and sexy they may be. The book is a fun read and I look forward to Ms. Warner continuing with the adventures of Lexi Hamilton.

In my review of Ms. Warner's first novel "Moral Infedelity" I stated she had a right out of the box "home run hit". After reading "Doubling Back" I genuinely feel she is in a league of her own. From a politically charged thriller to a book that would be every woman's fantasy and more. Her character Lexi is an independent, beautiful woman with a very high self esteem of herself and the men in her life, all of them! Each story was exciting and very erotic, well written and guaranteed to heat up your own sex life. Rebecca Warner's character "Lexi" reminded me a lot of Jackie Collin's "Lucky", but unlike "50 Shades of Gray" these writer's characters kick ass they don't get their ass kicked. Amen for the strong woman in our society! Well done Rebecca Warner I want to read more!

This book was categorized under women's fiction erotica and since I like that genre and the description was interesting, I thought I would give it a try. I titled this review Erotica Light because it is not erotica in the sense of a Fifty Shades kind of book, though I really liked Fifty Shades. But I really liked Doubling Back to Love too because it is well written, has a solid, engaging plot and beautiful, smart, sexy characters. The sex scenes are hot enough to make your temperature rise, for sure, but I also found them tasteful, meaningful and romantic. An unexpected twist at the end of the book made me laugh out loud in surprise and admiration. Definitely a worthwhile read.
